I'm about 1/4 into this book. It has a few similarities to "Fifty Shades of Grey" despite the reputation. Eva moves from San Diego to Manhattan due to a new job and meets Gideon Cross, a very rich and very attractive man. So far I like it, but it's nothing spectacular.

I never thought a character could be more annoying than America Singer, Eadlyn, may surprise you. Summarily, you may just end up rooting for her, hoping she gets that happily ever after. Just like Fire with Fire I can't give much of a description due to spoilers.
